The updates represent the most significant expansion of the application since its original release in 2009 and establish the MailRaider family as the definitive Microsoft email compatibility toolkit on Apple platforms.

MailRaider Pro for Mac: the complete archive solution

MailRaider Pro now opens Outlook OLK databases, the format used by older versions of Microsoft Outlook for Mac. Combined with its existing support for Outlook PST archives, MBOX files, and all individual Microsoft email formats, MailRaider Pro now covers every major format that Microsoft Outlook has produced across its entire history on Mac and Windows.

PST archives now expose their full nested folder hierarchy within MailRaider Pros bulk viewer, allowing users to navigate directly to any folder within a large archive rather than loading its entire contents. When exporting to MBOX now supported as a bulk export format that folder structure is preserved, making it straightforward to migrate years of Outlook email into Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or any other MBOX-compatible client with the original organisation intact.

Automation has been significantly expanded. MailRaider Pros AppleScript dictionary has been comprehensively updated, and full Shortcuts integration is now available on Mac. Sample scripts and Shortcuts are available on the 45RPM Software website for users to try and adapt.

MailRaider for Mac: formatting now fully preserved

The standard Mac version intended for users who encounter Microsoft email formats occasionally rather than in bulk now displays the full formatting of every email it opens. Fonts, colours, layout, and embedded images are preserved exactly as the original sender composed them. Email headers are colour-coded throughout for faster reading. This capability was previously exclusive to MailRaider Pro; it is now available across the entire Mac range at no additional cost.

MailRaider for iOS: voice transcription on iPhone and iPad

MailRaider for iOS which supports .msg, .eml, and winmail.dat files on iPhone and iPad now includes voice note transcription. Outlook voice notes, which are stored as audio attachments within .msg files, can be played back and transcribed using Apples Speech Recognition framework directly on device. Transcripts can be exported or printed alongside the audio. The iOS version also receives the same colour-coded header treatment as the Mac versions, and a range of bug fixes improve reliability throughout.
